Eagle 6 (Maj. Gen. James C. McConville,)posted a few hours ago a nice tribute:

"Our Screaming Eagle Friends and Family are mourning the death of a national hero. William "Wild Bill" Guarnere, a World War II veteran portrayed on the television miniseries, “Band of Brothers,” died on Saturday at the age of 90. Our condolences go out to his Family. We are inspired to live up to the legacy of this legend."
