My application is totally complete, I am 3Q'D and my nomination was just put up on the candidate portal. However, I just received an email from admissions requesting a bodyfat worksheet. I never received any paperwork on this, and I was wondering if this was a part of DODMERB or if I was supposed to have it done separately?

That's not a part of DoDMERB's normal process, they probably just want to get some tape measurements on you because your height and weight are outside of normal requirements (like many football players, etc).

I don't even know if they have a body fat minimum but good luck, and hopefully everything gets cleared up soon!

I had to do a body fat worksheet as well because Dodmerb had (without my knowledge) accidentally listed me as 5'8, and 103 lbs even though I am actually 5'2 and 108 lbs. They just want to make sure you meet their requirements. Check yourself on the chart. IF you don't, eat eat eat.

Upload

Then I would load it up on the "Upload Docs" tab in the application site.

Thanks so much! :big grin: Oh and who has to fill the sheet out, it seems that it is supposed to be filled out by a military official but will any regular doctor do?

I got the same worksheet. My admissions officer said any doctor, nurse, Army NCO or Commissioned Officer can complete it; he recommended going to an Army recruiter though since they do these all the time. Also, don't know if this applies to you, but he told me to just email him a scanned copy.

Same situation as you, skinny as a stick :frown: . I should get to eating haha!

I got my nurse to do it. It's just measurements so she used a measuring tape and a scale to weigh me. No worries.

DD had the school nurse fill out the form. She did upload it, but then received a request to scan and email it in. Apparently, the upload program is not the best. She met all the requirements, btw, even though the letter said she exceeded the weight limits. (She took a lot of ribbing for that!) We never did find out why she received the letter, but it was an easy fix.

Alright I found the worksheet and it looks like it shouldn't be too hard to get this worked out. Thanks to everyone for your help:biggrin:!

recruiters are easy if u need to fill a BFWS.

Retirees and active duty officers and NCOs can do this for you too.
