While Active duty is always an option, I am considering the national guard or army reserves. With that in mind how does branching in the reserve components work for ROTC commissioned officers? Do they still use the OML? Also if I were to go to BOLC a few years after I commission, how would it affect me? Thanks in advance

For the NG/Reserves you find a unit and then see if they have an opening for a 2LT in the Branch you want, you can also search for a unit that has an opening for the Branch you want if your willing to move or travel father for Drill. You would not be under the OML for branching since the Branching OML is only for Active Duty.
