Bus

I would try to look into the parents page or your state/regional parents page on Facebook. I know the MD/DC/VA area coordinate busses, which also stopped at Delaware. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a MA bus.
 
You should also look at Amtrak options. You could take the train across the river in Garrison to Grand Central in NYC and then jump on the Amtrak to MA.

If you are a parent, try your informal class page or the WP Moms or WP Dads page or the appropriate parents club page.

Short answer is...no, there is no bus to Massachusetts, which is a big state....so if you are going to Boston, you might wish to specify.

Are you a cadet? You might wish to look at the Straight to and From the Point app to find a ride for yourself.

Otherwise: Ferry to Garrison, train to NYC, train to Boston. Easy day...just not fast.
 
Also, for anyone coming by because they are curious.
The parents club that ALWAYS runs the buses is the WPPC MDDCVA--with stops in Delaware rest stop and along I-95--to DC and Fredericksburg. This is for most of the big 3-Day weekends: Labor Day, Presidents Day...but also for return to Re-Orgy week in August, for the Yuks for CFT in late June, Winter Break, Spring Break. The other parents clubs do not really organize buses. The Western PA folks did it a few times.
 
As a MD/DC/VA parents club member, just want to clarify that the Parents club does not typically organize buses for Columbus Day in October or President's Day in February. Columbus Day this year doesn't really matter anyway because there is a home football game at West Point that weekend. And typically the bus is not organized for President's Day because there are too many risks with winter weather. But otherwise, the major getaway opportunities are covered by the bus. And it is available to cadets whether or not they are a member of the club.
 
Hello, West Point Parents Club of MA has opened registration for a Labor Day bus, albeit dependent on # of signups. I've no experience to report but feel free to inquire of them and report back to this thread, perhaps try this link: http://wppc-ma.org/the-bus/

Also, there's a friendly FB Group for Grandparents & Other Relatives, mostly re-posts but informative.

You should have someone post this on the WP Moms and WP Dads pages so that new parents can learn about your bus services.
