C/O 2019 Mailbox Stalkers

Nothing in New Mexico. I have a group of friends applying and the first question we ask when we see each other is "anything yet?" And the common response is "nothing yet".. Good luck to all lurkers tomorrow!

I have just noticed the appointment list hasn't grown much this week. My husband was in DC last week for meetings and said he saw many of te cadets leaving for Spring Break. Does admissions get a Spring Break or do they have to keep muddling through?

Nothing in Massachusetts…2nd Congressional District. [McGovern]
Has anyone received an appointment from this district to any of the academies yet?

and your next challenge will be......

Peering out the window, without blinking :eek3:, until the BFE arrives.

We are CA-18 San Jose... and yes I want it to rain appointments!
DS has nom to USNA and no nom to USAFA so he's hoping for a chance at Prep there if no USNA appointment comes through.

With a predicted forecast of a wet Spring and now waiting for BFE's seems like Admissions and CA's weather-guessers are in cahoots. So, yes, a deluge of BFE's would sure help this drought.

We have spent the past several years traveling to SJ for water polo tournaments. While they were fun, at the same time I'm happy the traveling is over.

All the best to your DS!

This is an actual question that is not a joke, and I do not want it to be taken as rude.

For those of us who have heard nothing, has the decision already been made about our fate and it is just a matter of when the mail gets to our homes? Or are their some of us whom the board hasn't made a decision on one way or the other?

It could be either. I think for some it's just TWEs haven't been sent or arrived yet. For others I think it's a matter of the final NWL being compiled and awaiting for some acceptances to roll in to see where the class stands.

If it's like last year, the TWE's in March-April were received each week, usually on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, depending somewhat on how far USPS mail had to go from Annapolis. Admissions makes decisions each week (Tuesday?). The TWE's go out mid-week. As posted above, it could be in the mail or you are, to quote the famous thread from last year, "Still in the Game."

USNAco2019hopeful, This was posted today on the, "Have the majority already been appointed" thread:

"I would think everyone has been reviewed by the board to determine whether they are scholastically qualified. That doesn't mean a decision on whether to offer an appointment, NAPS/Foundation, waitlist or send a TWE has been made for every candidate."
