Agree with quote above. I think they are trying to figure out those pile each candidate goes in at this point.

This is extremely helpful to me, if it's like last year. Plan B decision is due next Friday by email, so if we've dodged the TWE bullet for one more week, if will be easier with plan B in hand, to wait for the BFE (or TWE she whispered) . Thank you for sharing.
 
Ah..a brief time away from mailbox duty..passed to my DH today and tomorrow as DS and I are at a swim tournament. have fun dear lol! :)
 
ACAN, there are still appointments coming. They are many who have more than one appointment and will have to decline an appointment which will open a place for another. Each academy has a different time for accepting/declining an appointment then you may see more coming. Maybe a moderator or someone better informed can touch on this. Best of luck to you and yours.

Thank you ThePatternisFull! I have become a mailbox stalking mom for the time being, but ready to give up that position at anytime! My DS has a plan B, as most do, but we are still remaining hopeful that his Plan A will come through. I just really enjoy seeing the new appointments listed & even though we have not heard anything yet, I am happy for those that have received an appointment! So proud of the young men & women that know at such a young age, that they want to serve their country! Really impressive! Congratulations to all! How exciting!
 
Soooo... I made the mistake of leaving the stalking to DS and husband. My DD and are at an ALL day dance competition. Husband just texted me that DS got a white letter..... My heart sank! It was from Plan B's financial aid program. He thought he was funny grrrr!
 
Still in the game here. Maybe next week?
Bad news and good news to report though: waitlisted to plan C school but acceptance materials came in the mail for plan B. Some mixed feelings here at the moment but okay.

Great verse but often taken out of context...

Aside from the context, it's important to realize that His plan might not be the same as our plan. And also that our disappointment might actually be what's best for us. (I find this to be true more often than not).
