C/O 2019 Mailbox Stalkers

Right there with you Beat Army. Full Ride, Engineering and Honors College at Bama secured by DS and deposit paid. Recently got a medical DQ changed to Qualified by following up with DODMERB so still in the game at USNA - waiting.
 
Bama surprised me with their engineering program. I'm not from AL but I turned down offers from Auburn and UT. What sold me was that the Dean told me to accept NA if offered, if not I would be welcomed there. It showed me that he cared more about the person than just recruiting.
I'm still holding out hope for the NA!!!
 
Wow, looks like Bama rolled strong on some potential great engineering students today. My DS has been recruited by Bama for a while now, the letter today is a strong offer. My DS is not going there, but Bama is making a statement. Good for them and any who decide to go there.
 
One of my daughter's best friends is going to Alabama. She excels in STEM and wants to pursue Chemical Engineering. She was given a very sweet offer. She lives in GA, and qualifies for the Zell Miller Scholarship if she attends an instate school, but she said Zell Miller doesn't compare to offer from Bama.

Wow, chemical engineering, she is way too smart for most. Good for her. It is very interesting here in the South to see Bama make such a strong statement and go after the best of the best. We need that. I know they have put a lot of money into their engineering schools and have plans to make them even better. A fun school, lots to be involved in, superior sports to watch, and willing to step up to attract great young academic talent.
 
Still on the island here in MD; however, I did have a question. Does someone have to home if a BFE does come in? Or can the mailman leave it at the door? Thanks!

Nobody needs to be home - and it will fit in a 'normal' mailbox. We live in NYC and it didn't fit in the tiny mailbox in our apartment building but was left with the doorman just like regular packages for the residents of the building. Hoping it does show up soon to plug your mailbox or rest against your door!
 
No news yesterday. I am feeling the squeeze from USMA to commit. My offer expires on 4/15.

If I do not hear from USNA or am waitlisted by then I will be in a really tough spot.

This is 9 years of my life and I want to have all if the options on the table before I decide.

Is anyone else in the same situation?
