TWE day in Massachusetts. I want to thank all of you for sharing your stories and thoughts. I never would have made it through this process as a parent without all of you. Our TWE moment went like this: 2:30 today: He read the letter, put it on the counter, then I read the letter, then we hugged and cried hard for 10 minutes without saying a word. It was a moment in my life I'll never forget. He went upstairs, tossed a few things around in his room, then his basketball coach came over, more tears, then he changed his clothes and headed out the door to baseball practice. It was so quiet and lonely after he left.
If you don't mind, I would like to post a few highlights from my son's profile---read it if you'd like---I'm going to write it because it will be therapeutic for me to share it with all of you, my forum friends. [I won't list everything so I won't bore you!]
