C/O 2026! How's Everyone Doing!

Update, very frustrated. Got my ACT scores back from my retake and I got the same score. This test felt a lot easier than the first one and I felt a lot more confident, so today ain't it chief. Going to schedule another retake...

Oh that sucks, what about your superscore?

Same thing happened to my DS. He was so excited to see a better score only to be disappointed in the same number. Thankfully, his English went up 2 points (while Reading went down 2 points) so he has a tiny bit better superscore. The experience caused him to reevaluate his study plan and sign up for the next offering. Good luck on your next try!

Best advice I can give is to make the most of your summers. I firmly believe that is why I received an appointment because I would constantly pack my summer schedule with things to do. Last summer I woke up every day at 0400 to sharpen my flying skills and then I would drive an hour to work on a non-profit farm for 8 to 10 hours a day. Do not just sit around playing video games and hanging out with friends. Obviously it is important to relax, but make sure you are making beneficial use of your time.

Anybody have summer plans other than summer programs to prepare for the SA?
I'll be working with my Community Organization, Working on Summer Assignments, Working at my Job, and potentially attending AIM. Hoping to practice for ACT/SAT upcoming tests, getting CPR/AED Certified Next Week.

Full summer ahead lol

I'll be volunteering at the library, working, attending NASS, practicing for the CFA, studying and then retaking the ACT, and finishing up my nomination packets.

Retaking my SAT, hunting for a job, and getting ready for New Student Orientation at my university. :D And nomination stuff, of course. Feels much less stressful this time around! (I say in May. Remind me I said that sometime in September/October.)

I was accepted as a residential cello major at Lamont School of Music! It's a two week program (in person) where I can study with their cello professor, play in a full orchestra, chamber ensembles, as well as electives such as conducting/sound painting(?)/ etc. I'm super excited for that since it's one of my top colleges and I haven't been able to play in a full ensemble in over a year. Also attending USAFASS, heading to North Carolina for a week with family, Cleveland for a couple weeks with my grandparents. I'm trying to keep myself busy enough since I've had almost nothing last summer. I'll of course give myself enough time to prepare for my CFA, noms, etc.
