I am a re-applying to all 5 SA’s from the C/O 2028. I tore my ACL on December 27th, 2023, and I had surgery on January 30th, 2024. This puts my recovery timeline at medically cleared by October 30th, 2024. My plan is to attend the University of Saint Thomas this fall and participate in Army ROTC. I am looking to improve my application in all aspects, but specifically in my weakest areas. I would greatly appreciate a detailed breakdown of my application and what I need to improve on. Additionally, what should I make sure to do this year at college: academically, class selection, clubs, sports, business. What will make my application as strong as possible?

Your high school information is great, but understand that when you re apply, your college transcript and what you do at college will matter more than high school. Take a SA level of courses your freshman year at Saint Thomas. Do well and be a good teammate at AROTC. I would consider if you really need to reapply to all 5 SA's. Take the next few months and really consider if you need or want to apply to all of them. After your last high school year, and the next few months. You should be able to atleast focus on 2 branches. What is the benefit of applying to all of them? What are you trying to accomplish in doing that? That is what I recommend you ask yourself. I understand applying to everything when you are in high school and not sure what you want to do. Now that you have been through the process and learned alot about all of the branches. Does applying to everything get you to where you want to be after college? If the answer is yes, then great.

If you are re-applying to five, then does that mean that you applied to USCGA? From what I have heard, they are excellent at talking to applicants who did not get admitted, going through the previous application thoroughly, and giving great advice. I would hope that the other academy admissions do the same. Start there. Get your advice direct from the primary source.

You were varsity team captain for both basketball and baseball as a freshman?
