He traded watch tomorrow with his roommate, so it will be quite a boring 3-day weekend for him. His GF is traveling overseas resulting in not a lot to do other than video games and hanging out.

Bummer is Mid store closes at 4, and the gift shop at 5. And since I pick up the dude at his preschool at 1530, and the 45 minute trip down to Annapolis, we'll miss out on those times. The little dude won't get to pick up any more swag this round.

... at the indoor track-half soccer field, I've seen lots of kids/toddlers playing. Bring soccer ⚽. Location --> Halsey Field House-Visitor Center.

Why no liberty for 3/C on Fridays until after spring break? We are flying in for a quick visit on President's weekend and hoped our Mid would be able to get permission to spend Friday night with us.
 
I think that is just the Mid. Regs. policy. I'll ask the dude when I see him tonight. I had thought they were getting it this year, but maybe I was mistaken on what he had said before.

I'm sure your mid can put in for a chit to have it. That would probably be an easy approval (assuming all "sat" in their company).
 
... so Saturday, DS is coming home and returning to the yard 1800 Sunday. I think he earned it through the Commandant's list. His best friend (academic probation) however can only stay with us for several hours for lunch, games, and nap.

Are those list's ever posted to usna.edu? I found the criteria. Ours thought she made supe list.

Of course, everybody on the Supe's list also appears on the Dant's list, but not vice versa.

There are many inconsistencies. There is no publication of the Supe's list or OOM. But in the end, if you really want to know the top 100 Midshipmen in OOM in their 1/C year, just livestream their commissioning ceremony.

Was gonna say, why on Sunday??!!

Good visit with the dude, in his PT gear. Got food from Nano Asian. Drunken noodles for the dude with his braces making chewing less than fun! Littlest dude had shrimp fried rice and avocados sushi - his fave.

Only hiccup was they were doing a funeral reception in Dahlgren, so we had to sit up on the mezzanine area and keep a bit more quiet. A bit of a challenge with a rambunctious 5-year old!!

Always nice to visit. Dude continues to thrive and is trying to mix it up with billet options. Did not get Sea Trials cadre. Said that was more of a popularity contest and the mids he figured would, got it.
