Can you solve it?

The sledge hammer is an actual name for a sequence of moves we use! :p

But yeah I mean that counts. I threw one at a brick wall for on my school campus then smashed it with a drill rifle.

Can you solve the famous rubix cube? I learned how to do it earlier this year and my record for solving it is a 1:05. What are your best times?

It took me a while but I shattered your 1:05 record. It only took me a month and two days.

Didn't expect this thread. I learned to solve the cube in 1981 while at USAFA (i did end up on ac pro that semester). Didn't touch one again until my kids were old enough to become interested. It got out of hand lol. My 2019 appointee competed at the world championships at the age of 11. my personal best is a very slow 28 seconds.

Was this World Championships 2009? Germany!

I still actively compete but I am working towards becoming a delegate. If I end up going to an Academy that has a cube club (I know Navy has one), I can organize and hopefully delegate a competition there!

Never tried it except once in a waiting room. I always get frustrated by puzzles so steer clear. Looks fun, though.

Wow! I competed at the National Championships last year. I decided not to go to Worlds or Nationals this year because of my job. I felt that was more important.

Cubing is growing a lot. We are at the point where we are deciding whether or not we should have qualification rounds..
