My DD has and LOA and is triple qualified for USNA. She also has a nom for USAFA, so she is trying to secure a candidate tour in December to assist with a final decision. She reported she could not find anything on the USNA website (but this is accessible on the USAFA site). Does anyone know if it's possible to set up a tour that is more than the typical tourist tour for fully qualified candidates, and if so, how to go about doing so? Thanks.

It would be quicker to contact her Regional Director (RD) for the purpose of setting up a CVW. The RD will have access to the dates available, vacancies, etc, and be able to work around schedule conflicts.

To follow up on 1964's comment, BGOs canNOT set up CVWs. We can request them of the RD but the decision to grant one and the scheduling rests entirely with Candidate Guidance.

Having your BGO recommend you for one can't hurt (it may not help either:rolleyes:) but you should also contact your RD.
