CAR glitch?

One of my DDs Candidate Activities Record was verified by her guidance councilor a while back. She checked her portal earlier today and it said that it needed to be resubmitted. I was thinking it was a glitch of some sort. I know she was truthful on it, but I couldn't help but wonder if there was something on the CAR that the admissions board saw that didn't "check out"? This doesn't make much sense to me, as her councilor validated it a while back. Does the admissions board do thier own sort of validation tests (such as calling coaches, leaders, etc)? We will try to contact her councilor tommorow to get this resolved. My other DD (who already has an appointment) never had this issue. Thanks!

From personal casual observation, this year USNA seems to be asking for updated information in several categories including teacher recommendations, semester transcripts, etc. Something to consider in this regard: The request may be an indicator that the candidate is under serious consideration for an offer of appointment, and the nominator's slate is very competitive, ergo the need for updated information. I would look at this as a positive indicator.
