CFA basketball size

Does the size of basketball in the CFA matter? I can't find it in the fine print anywhere. I have a smaller then regulation basketball in my garage, but I could go buy a normal one if needed.

We went and bought a regulation BBALL, its sitting lonely in our garage never to have been used since DS prep for his CFA last year LOL. Well worth the money!!
 
Get a good ball with good "grooves' -- easier to handle and maybe grip better-- might make it easier for some-- good luck
 
A new ball will serve you well. It’ll have “grip-tion” that will allow you to throw farther. Older balls, especially those use outdoors, will be worn and smooth — not good for gripping.
