Hey SAF,

I took the CFA at SLE and wasn't super successful, but I greatly improved and passed when I retook it at NASS. Yesterday, I used the automated request option through my portal. Can anyone who's gone through this process before advise me on approximately how long it will take?

Thanks,

AHO

Truly, it depends...first navy has to respond and send it...is that person on vacation or working something that is a higher priority, and then once West Point gets the response, you have the same issues. It is summertime and a lot of people go on leave...so it could be done in a day to a couple of weeks. If you don't see an update by 1 August, I would follow up.

Mine did the same. Took CFA at both Army and Navy Seminar. Did better at Navy, and had that sent to Army, which Army used, and where he went.

I may be wrong, but even though the CFA is the same, I saw some clues that they have different minimums, and weigh the events differently. So as everyone keeps saying, you don't want to just 'pass', but really train and do your best. One school may tell you you passed, and that may not be a pass at another. I am guessing Army weighs upper body strength more, and Navy, more running, but of course, no one really knows.
