I know this is probably answered elsewhere, but couldn't find it. My DS only weakness was his CFA. How does he know if he passed/failed it? I'm assuming no news is good news, but also felt there would be something showing on the portal as well.

Nothing on the portal will say that he passed. Many candidates that fail receive a notice to retake with a deadline of a couple weeks. If you don't hear anything many say it is safe to assume that he's good. Nothing you can do anymore besides wait. Good luck!

I was alerted that I failed my first CFA exactly 10 hrs after I took it. That was on a Friday night which I was surprised because I thought that admissions probably went home early on a Friday. I was offered a retake for two weeks and I passed! So my guess your DS already passed it the first time!
