Chance me? Please :,)

You're right, I really need to stop wasting time comparing myself to others on these forums when I don't know the slightest bit about their character and shift my focus onto doing my best. Thank you for your humbling input and time!
I would heartily encourage you to do just that. Every year there are a ‘flood of rate my chances’ threads. Every year I wonder why people waste their time answering them because they honestly have no clue what your chances are. I understand more why people post them because they are looking for assurance but anyone who answers is frankly making a guess. They have no visibility of your competition.

Are you Korean or Korean-American? A U.S. Citizen? This can make a difference in your application.

The other thing to remember, is that no one giving advice is from Admissions. You seem to be adjusting course (at least in your responses) to each persons advice, at least here.

Don’t do that. We are not admissions. Neither are the other people on the other sites you are on. There is no “one size fits all”, other than demonstrating leadership, physical fitness and strong academics. Sharpen up what you can, but don’t try and make a new ‘you’ based upon what anonymous people say on forums. You will get good advice, and not so good advice. And what worked for one candidate won’t work for another. Plus you will drive yourself NUTS trying to make yourself into something you aren’t.

It’s an important life skill to not constantly worry and compare yourself to others. You do you. If both of my Mids (USNA, but same concept) would have compared themselves to other resumes here? They could have been discouraged (they actually wouldn’t have, bc that’s not how they are built....). You are right, lots of spectacular ones here! BUT, don’t be discouraged or change who you are based upon what other post. Changing things up to what you think a SA wants to see will be rooted out. If you are the one they want, you will be the one offered an appointment.

Get Plan B's in line that will also make your heart sing. Check out the different ROTCs programs and military colleges. Don't put all your eggs in one basket (We thought DS thought would be a shoe-in at USMA, but received a TWE because the competition on the two slates he was on, was stronger)! Work hard and do your best, turn in an application that you are proud of. Good luck to you!

Question, do SAs look at AP scores? Say in a difficult class I'm in, AP Physics, I get a 2 or 3 on the exam, will that count against me? I have an A overall but I'm just curious.
In general the exams only count against college credit for the class, and in some cases out of state schools may not even give you credit. Others require a 4 or 5 on the exam. They would not look at your AP scores, yet see that you took the class and got an A in it if you can get a 4.5+ gpa. Getting a high GPA is what shows them you have taken, and done well in college classes, not the exams.

One bit of advice I haven't read, is to start working on your pushups, etc now while you have time to gradually improve. DS was a xc/track kid who focused too much on running and barely passed CFA. He didn't start seriously preparing until Oct/Nov of senior year, and it almost bit him.
