Class of 2015 - Mailbox Stalkers Club

I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I have broken out in a rash on my forehead which is going to look so professional in a meeting today. Sending out loving prayers for all the kids for all of this week. (As to you parents, like me, there is no quick remedy. Look at me, I have a rash for CRIPES sake.)

This thread is a hoot and quite the diversion while waiting to hear from DS as he sails through the Middle East.

TWA : You need a medical leave from the MBC! Remember even if you do not hear this week, notifications will continue till everyone commits for the full class. Can't have MBC members breaking down now! We're going into the final stretch and everyone needs to be sane and healthy at the end (Healthy at least :smile: ).
 
Who in here is going to remain sane? =P I don't think that is going to happen xD
 
Good Morning! New week, full of lots of anticipation for all of our kids (and us!) I prayed all weekend and the prayers won't be stopping anytime soon, that is for sure! Slow down, take lots of deep breaths...:confused:......We won't be in town to "stalk", but I will be checking in on our forum, several times a day! God Bless and let's keep our spirits up! :thumb:
 
This is worse....

The knowing that the appointments went out is worse than just the possibility of them going out. I couldn't get to sleep last night, then I couldn't stay asleep and I woke up ridiculously early this morning. I am a wreck!:help:

Our kids are on spring break this week to top it off. Fortunately the DS in question is busy today with track practice and then a volunteering commitment so he won't be here for mailbox stalking! DS#2 has a dentist appointment that I will have to take him to since DS#1 is busy. But.... I get to come home and check the mail before and after (if necessary) the appointment!!:shake:

Oh and Friday night DS comes down from taking his shower and is wearing the Academy Admissions shirt with his pajama bottoms that he got when he shadowed a cadet in August. Then he proceeded to wear it all day Saturday. He hasn't said anything about the waiting but obviously he is thinking it. I am glad the waiting will soon be over!
 
We need to make this some kind of a game....What date and time the first BFE or TWE will be posted..... Whoever is closest wins bragging rights! I'll pick today at 2:45 PM Mountain Time (using AFA Time Zone). So, if you are "game", post your pick (for consistency, let's keep it Mountain Time)....

So by now the mailwoman should have called my husband...so I'm already stressed thinking that the BFE is not coming today :(
Mountain time...my heavens what will my time be...mailwoman comes 12:30 Eastern time...u all r smart figure it ou for me :biggrin:

Bless ur heart...did u come in contact with anything? Maybe it is plain urticaria...it happens when u r anxious :thumb:

I , too , hope everyone gets the news that is best for their DS/DD. And OBXmom, yes I DID! I saw the mural by the way. More on that in a PM! ;)
And how could I not have had a GREAT weekend when VCU made the final four when they were ranked #16. You can only imagine what Richmond is like right now....craziness! It acutally took my mind off of the stalker clulb for about, oh, ten minutes! :wink:
 
I'm predicting first post will be 10:28 am MST. I feel downright nauseous. Tried to eat a biscuit. I'm either going to burst out sobbing at work this afternoon (or next few days) or fall on floor into a dead faint. All your posts are helping me. This is worse feeling than being pregnant and nauseous. At least bean dip & Fritos, lemons and salt, and whole bags of celery helped me that time. I truly want to throw up. Sorry to be gross. Since I am anonymous, it does not matter. So I will say it again. I'm going to throw up.
 
It's ok to laugh at me. If it makes YOU feel better, please laugh. I will hear you from here and it will cheer me up.
 
Tailwind Angel, I am feeling your pain! So excited/nervous and hopeful/dreading.... Am not planning on throwing up, but my trash can is right by my desk, so am prepared for anything!!
 
I'm going with 11am. Tailwind - so sorry about that rash! Deep breaths - soothing music. We'll all need some serious R&R after this ordeal.
 
It just got worse. I lost part of a tooth with that biscuit. I must have grinding in my sleep on an old crown. Oh, the things parents go through!!!!!! I need a dramamine patch. I feel seasick. We will have lots of posts this week. We are all up now from Pacific to Atlantic! And Hawaii! And points globally!

I'm not so patiently on the edge of my seat waiting for a call from VVCFF (very very close family friend) for some BFE news, since I can't stalk her mailbox, I have to stalk this thread, LOL!
 
Ive been checking the thread in between classes all morning. I figure if anything happens Ill here about it first here. I'm very nervous, and i don't know how long the mail will take to go from Colorado to Maine, so if there isnt anything there for me today I dont know whether or not to be worried yet...
