TWA: Don't forget that Prep and Falcon offers follow TWE's. So it isn't necessarily over with the TWE.

Great perspective. There are also prep school free agents, AFROTC, and even OCS if the goal is to be an officer in U.S. Air Force.

That is hilarous! "since I am anonymous, it does not matter..." LOL We are anonymous stalkers threatening to throw up due to mail. What a SCARY group of stalkers we are!:shake:

Just wanted to say thank you for my dear stalker friends. This has been great...and lots of fun!!!
DS got his TWE today...that is all right God is in control and will be always.
Wishing each and everyone of you many blessings from above...and if that means a BFE awsome...it that means a TWE trust in the Lord...He knows what is best :wink:

YMG....I know he must be feeling a lot of strong emotions right now, and you too. I think we all think we are prepared for the TWE but no one is ever really prepared for rejection. It hurts. Even at this stage of the process. I will say a prayer for you and your DS. There will be a few thousand in the same place.:frown:

YMG: This is just one part of the process (remember there are lots of things left to be determined prep, falcon, etc), so don't feel you have to sign off just yet. Please keep us informed about what is happening and never hesitate to PM me if you have anything you want to bounce around. Best wishes to you and your family!

BUT, I need my mom to overnight it to my college so I can get it :frown:

So, the waiting continues, I guess :bang:
 
ymg - sorry to hear about your TWE, I'm kinda of expecting one to, to be honest. its crazy competitive to get in. everyone who gets a TWE needs to remember that there is so much more ahead of them and that an USAFA rejection letter is just a small bump in the road.
 
Hearing that TN got their TWE today makes me want to puke. I'm in IL, so I'm guessing that the news could come today and I'm pretty sure my blood-pressure just sky-rocketed (is that healthy for a 17 yo girl? I think not). YMG -- I'm so sorry for you and your DS, but know that this doesn't have to be the end.

Women tend to have lower blood pressure anyway, so you should be fine :smile:
 
YMG: bschick put it well - it's a bump in the road. Your DS will be successful in whatever he wants to do. These kids who make it this far are outstanding! Big hugs to you and DS - And keep us posted on his plans.
