Usafa Facebook site states portal is updated on Sundays. Also, all should know decisions mid April. Not sure about the prep school. So more hurry up and wait!
 
I'm still patiently waiting for any news like many of you. I looked at the list of appointments and it seems that quite a few got sent out on the 29th (last Thursday) so maybe we'll be seeing some more in the next few days! Just a shot in the dark, though. :thumb:

Edit: Also, keep in mind there's going to be a few people who turn down those appointments. I saw at least 2-3 post like that in the appointment thread, a lot of these guys have appointments to other SAs, scholarships and such. There's also those 240 slots from the prep school. There's still hope!

Adding captain of the swim team to my application only took a 30 second phone call. I'm very glad I called.
 
Well, it really wouldn't matter as approx. 500 Offers of Appointment have been sent out... regardless of online or mail.
 
Still hanging in there... I hope things start to happen for everyone soon!

I saw on another (Navy Thread, "Sticky" - What are my chances) that you should update your record if you receive a AFROTC scholarship - is this true? Thanks for any insight on this.

You can try. I'm not sure an AFROTC scholarship will raise your WCS, but you might as well try. Worst case they say no.

Actually it's not, considering what Pima said about how the AFA makes decisions Wednesday and notifies MOCs on Thursday. Regardless of what we wish (to be notified earlier, and believe me, I wish I knew right now), it changes nothing except how anxious we are.

What I stated was Monday board meets, Tuesday results are handed down, Wednesday appointments go out in the mail, Thursday-Saturday recipients TYPICALLY receive.

I never, ever said MOCs notify on Thursday. There are MOCs that notify. and there are those that don't! I am the 1st to say don't hang by the phone.

I never, ever said there will be a NEXT WEEK!

I know you want this appointment, I get it, but please understand that at one point it ends. Forgive me if you mistook my post that there will be another week because that was not my intention. My intention was to say don't be Snoopy or dread the mailbox on M/Tu/Wed

True, but this week was really the last week where it would be within an acceptable time limit. Halfway through April is RIDICULOUS! Like, I was anxious before, but still ok with it because it says first week of April on the admissions page. But now it's just not fair. I CAN start plan B or C, but that puts me out of hundreds of dollars in deposit fees, and I don't even know if it's necessary!
Not angry, just disappointed that they can't work more efficiently.

All joking aside, though, I still had a question about MOCs.
I know that my MOC does in fact notify people, so if your schedule holds true, when would the MOCs that notify people do so?
