Nothing in the mail here in WI status on portal is the same. Still thankful we are waiting, beats the alternative. Still heading out to Embry-Riddle next week for plan B.

ERAU was my son's plan B also---loved loved loved the school when we visited. I think he would have been very happy there also.

Which ERAU campus? My DH & I went to the Prescott, AZ campus from 1997-99 LOVED living there. It's also DS's second college pick.

The Prescott campus is where she would go. They tell us that there are alot of AFA plan B students there. I am sure that our daughter will love it there too, BUT... AFA is the golden ticket!!! This waiting is.....

DH's father lives there now. We were there this Christmas. Took a stroll around campus.

My son is still waiting, his plan B is also Embry-Riddle...which campus is your (I think you said daughter) going to? My son is going to the Daytona campus.
 
My DS's Plan B is ERAU in Daytona or VMI--he's leaning towards VMI. The Citadel was also on the short list but they haven't come through with scholarships whereas both ERAU and VMI have.

Our daughter is thinking about the Prescott campus. We are going there this coming Friday. Hoping to come back to find a BFE from AFA!
 
My DS's plan b is Wake Forest AFROTC. It's a cross town school and no one has ever done AFROTC from there. He's excited about the possibility of being their trail blazer!:smile:

That's why he applied for AFA, he's a trail blazer! That is awesome!

Technically, yes. Last year the QNV letters stated that if an opening occurs, there may be call backs. This year it sounds like people are asked if they want to be on the waiting list.
 
if i had a $1 for every time i checked my portal I would be a very wealthy man! haha. What has everyone heard by first. I've seen someone found out on the portal first and someone else found out with a BFE in their mailbox. So does it just vary?

My DS plan B is ERAU (Daytona) or Purdue. He was offered an AFROTC Type 7 4 year and converted it to a Type 2 3 year as we don't live in Indiana. Still hoping for good news from the AFA, however will pull the trigger on plan B soon. Lastly, we've been out of town this past week and our old fashion answering machine had 2 'hang ups', hope that was a Congressman's office wanting to talk live...........:smile:

Hi, sorry, was travelling today and couldn't get a reply in. Yes, we are in the great state of Michigan. From what I can tell (but I haven't read each post in the last couple days) nobody from MI that frequents this site has gotten a BFE, phone call, portal change, etc. So not sure what that means for the candidates from MI. Our mail has been held at the PO, so Monday we'll get a bundle, but I we aren't thinking it will contain much based on what we've read here. Happy Easter!
