From what I have read class rank seems to be relativley important in the application process. My school no longer releases the class ranks. My high school is very competetive and they felt that class rank was actually hurting some very qualified students from getting into their desired colleges.

So...sorry if this has been answered before but.....is this a problem for me? Does it make my application look bad? How would they handle this?

Thank You for any and all help!!!!

my school does the same thing and my counselor told me that they estimate it like if you're GPA is around a 3.9 they might say you're in the top 10 percent

My son's HS is the same, but the councellor will estimate the rank if a student needs it.

On the other hand, if your HS is that competitive, I could imagine that USNA knows where you'd fall.
