College and Past Performance/Grades

Question for anyone who's willing to help, I am currently enrolled in math, science, history and english. Unfortunately, I was not able to get into calculus and chemistry. Instead I took algebra and astronomy, essentially trying to mimic the plebe courses as much as humanly possible. Will this hurt my re-application? Any advice/help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We all are well familiar with the fact that every child differs from the other, be it their behavior or their learning power, you can easily realize a considerable difference in their aptitude and performance, either at home or in school.
 
Just an update for anyone who cares:

I have a 4.0 now and finals are coming up but I am feeling pretty great about them. I received my commanding officers recommendation (Army Major, infantry, was commanding officer in the Korengal Valley :zip:) and am all done with my application (just have to send in 1st semester transcript as well.

Well one last update.

I have not heard from MOCs yet about nominations. My interviews all went very well and I frequently update the staff with recent achievements.

Just finished up my first semester. Final grades as follows:

Advn. Multivariable Calculus: A
Information Systems: A
Chemistry: A
Composition: A
Chinese + East Asian History: B+

I really busted my butt to get those A's in chemistry, IT, and math. My application is also complete. All there is to do now is wait for USNA to receive my transcript.
