Hi all,
I am a current college freshman and have my EA application all wrapped up. The quarter just ended today and I have put in a request to send my grades this quarter to USAFA admissions. My question is how much more does the academy value college academic performance over high school grades and test scores? My GPA in high school was a 4.0W and 3.76UW with a 28 Math, 28 English, 31 Reading, and 35 Science ACT. In comparison to other candidates I feel like the math and english are on the low/middle of pack. Will a successful college quarter override these? Barring any critical mistakes on finals, I should be finishing this quarter with a GPA of 3.75-3.9 as a STEM major.
