I am a college reapplicant (ROTC, D1 athlete) fully qualified with a nomination. I hear typically about 90 Mids enter each year with 1 or more years of academic prep beyond high school, not including foundation or NAPS.

Have any college applicants heard back yet? I am hoping to hear soon. My BGO is very informative. I am fully qualified but waiting on an appointment decision. I had a 3.85 GPA at a top school in science and math courses last semester, and my father is an '85 grad.

I spent two years in college(year at local community college and the other at 4 year university) and was offered an appointment in late February.

Thanks for all of the info. I was told my file had not be evaluated for an appointment yet, although I was deemed fully qualified. I guess my full package hasn't gone before the board. My school was very slow in getting my transcripts out and I had to wait until the USNA received/processed my officer recommendations.

I also was a college re-applicant who was going through ROTC and was on a D1 team. I got accepted in late February. Make sure to stay updated with your affiliated coach at the academy as they can help you out a lot in the admissions process. Also, I only had a 3.15 GPA my fall semester with a major in mechanical engineering. It sounds like you're a strong applicant though, so you shouldn't worry!
