Competitiveness of Grades

Currently I am waiting for a medical waiver to be requested or not and have not really heard anything on the competitiveness of my file.
I do the IB diploma and these are my subjects' most recent predicted grades:

Biology Higher Level: 6
Psychology Higher Level: 7
Business Management Higher Level: 7
English A Language and Literature Standard Level: 5
Mathematics Analysis and Interpretations Standard Level: 6
Spanish ab Inition Standard Level: 7
Core Points: 2

I also have an SAT of 1300 with 620 on math and 680 on english.

Solely in terms of grades, how competitive would this be considered?

It depends on how competitive your slate is. My DS was on two WP slates and they were very competitive this year. He was turned down by WP with higher test scores and a dual credit associate of science degree with a 4.0 unweighted GPA.That being said, it's not all about grades and test scores. Have a solid plan B in place and get excited about that, it will take the pressure off. I hope you get good news soon!

Complete the strongest application possible, it seems that they review each application based on what you have and what they need. No cookie cutter response. Last year, my son, to the surprised of his FFR received an early LOA and he is sure it was due to his extended leadership skills; his total SAT test score was same as yours. So just submit your application, make plans A-Z, and enjoy the waiting ride.

Great post ......both of our posts prove that no one really knows what admissions is looking for. Like you said, put forth the strongest application you can and also have a backup plan.
