Compression Shorts

Ive been doing lots of reading and there seems to be a big deal of confusion over what color / size/ length / ... compression shorts may actually be. could someone who firsthand experience with bringing compression shorts that got approved post a link to a site where that exact type can be purchased.

From what I have read, it is all dependent on your individual cadre.

My son (an IC with big thighs that chaff easily) took them with him, quickly had them taken away, but soon had them returned when it became obvious they would serve a purpose that would allow him to continue with training etc.
