Howdy y'all,
Like a lot of people on this here fine forum, i'm anxiously awaiting an acceptance later...I can just reach out and touch that big ol' sac....*shakes head back into reality*
Recently I've been desperately trying to get a hold of my RC (Major O'Hern. Kentucky here) concerning about the status of my profile. Every single time he is in a meeting. I've left X amount of voice mails, and probably 2X amount of emails.
I doubt he's going to respond to any of these. I realize he is a busy man and all, but is there a way I can reach him? Or another way of finding out about my status?
This waiting...

He's my admissions officer too. Don't worry you're not alone haha. He doesn't really answer my calls or respond to my emails except for like 3 times out of the 10 I probably sent him. I suggest doing what buff said and try contacting your FFR.

If FFR is my liaison officer, he said that he doesn't know a thing about my status. "I'm in the same position you are in." He told me.

oh snap...well...idk. I would just keep trying to reach him. Try calling at different times during a day. Did Maj O'Hern at least tell you when you should hear something by?

No. Nothing. I was emailed by him some time ago asking if I was still interested in West Point, and saying I was fully qualified (he just dropped a sentence. I thought I would at least get a letter)

The problem is , is that i'm at school until 2:15, then practice at 2:30 until 4:30. Admissions closes at 4:30.

This wait would be less stressful if I got SOME sort of response.

Maybe not being able to get a hold of him is not such a bad thing.

My DS couldn't stand the waiting any longer either and contacted his RC (Far West) yesterday asking if he could shed some light on his status. His RC replied fairly quickly with, "We've made the offers for your congressional district; neither have accepted so depending on declinations and timing, you could still get an offer, but I wouldn't plan on it. I'd make sure you have plan B ready to go."

Even though my DS is technically "still alive" his chances at this point are very slim. We're pretty much moving on focusing on getting everything set-up for his plan B (3 year AD at Oregon State). It's tough to realize that all the hard work the past year plus will come up short, West Pint-wise.

All in all, whether you find out now or in a month, you will find out. Here, we're just trying to move on knowing that the goal will still be realized (commissioned officer), and if a last minute appointment should come, then our DS will make a decision at that point. Everyone, hang in there. All will work itself out.
