It's finally here. R-day. It seems incredible that only a year ago I was eagerly awaiting a letter from the Academy for AIM. After having a blast of at AIM, waiting for the application to open, Early Action letters, and the long road to getting a waiver approval, we're finally here. I know that my fellow cadets and I will be in for challenges this summer. I also know that our success will be determined by the teamwork between us, as we grow as a class and mature as cadets and adults.

Everyone here has been great at giving advice and helping us to earn our appointments so we can be here tonight on the eve of anticipation. Luigi, LITS, Boss, Shellz, Officer (who it was nice to meet today!), track and field, mnolan, and many others are to be thanked for their willingness to take the time and effort to help others with the admissions process by giving advice and guidance. Let's make this a forum that will help those for the class of 2015 and beyond!

Well, this is SamAca10 signing off for now. I'll see you guys in the fall! :thumb:

Yes, you will! By the time you read this, it will seem so far in the past, but it was absolute pleasure to have lunch with you and your family during R-day weekend. I could see the glimmer in your little brother's eye--maybe he'll be next to join the long blue line. See you on Parent Weekend. Go Echo, Go Bears, Go Beloved Coast Guard! -officer
