I thought I saw somewhere that there are special Army scholarships for undergrads majoring in desired languages (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, etc) and was wondering if anyone had info on this?
Is applying for these scholarships a separate process than the AROTC schoalrship, or would these majors be given preference?
If I were to get a BA in one of these languages, would my only career option be Intelligence? You wouldn't think they'd want to "waste" someone fluent in Chinese by having them as an Infantry officer.
