DS has taken DODMERB exam for USNA and been found Medically Qualified. Now USMA is ordering DODMERB. Can USMA use USNA's DODMERB results, or does he need to do it again? I thought I read somewhere on this forum that you only need to take DODMERB exam once, and that all SA's and ROTC'S can use the same results.

Once is enough.

I believe that USMA will be able to see that your DS already has a DoDMERB account created by USNA. Even ROTC will be able to use the same DoDMERB.

USMA will request a medical determination from DoDMERB. DodMERB will see that your DS has already been qualified for USNA. There may be some differences between the medical requirements for USNA and USMA, so they will confirm that your DS is qualified for USMA and they will forward the results. The entire process will be transparent to you and within a few weeks you should see a qualified on your portal and receive a letter in the mail. This will be the same process for SA to ROTC.
