DODMERB and Application Deadline

I wasn't aware DODMERB could be done in a separate application portal BEFORE the Academy sends out the DODMERB information to applicants, and I did not receive the DODMERB application link until December 1st. With it being the holidays and places being closed and all, I wasn't able to schedule my last appointment until the 7th of January. This is cutting it super close to the deadline, especially because I know it can take 7-10 business days for CIV to receive my packet and 2-4 weeks for it to be processed by DODMERB.

I've gotten 2 noms and am completely done with my application except for this. I don't want it to hurt my chances in any way or completely disqualify me for admissions. Is the DODMERB deadline the same as the application deadline? And if so, what can I do to try and make sure all of my stuff gets in quickly?

That 31st deadline is essentially for stuff you control. You have held up your end and gotten things scheduled. After you complete your exams, it’s out of your direct control. DoDMERB actions and processes can continue to resolve into the spring.

1. Don't be confused. You were not downloaded to DoDMERB by USNA and USCGA until 30 Nov.
2. As Capt MJ said, DoDMERB deadline for both is NOT 31 Dec
