DODMERB and DODMETS discrepancy, which one is correct?

I was disqualified for a mild case of sleep apnea. However, I had some remedials that had necessary AMIs because of scoliosis. I submitted these ASAP and they were sent to DODMERB and I was cleared. However, I checked my DODMETS portal and it still shows that my scoliosis AMI has not been sent to DODMERB, even though I did receive confirmation it was cleared. Any advice?

I would think if you are medically qualified in DODMERB, it probably doesn't really matter what the DODMETS website says. DODMETS is just a conduit to funnel needed info to DODMERB, right? DODMETS does not make a determination on your status. DODMERB does.

I can second that. CIV team told my DS that neither DODMERB nor SA waiver authorities have visibility of DODMETS portal. They just handle scheduling of exams and medical related AMI’s (if you want the USA to pay for it).

I’ll echo that DoDMERB portal is the definitive answer.

Son has AMI that still shows up in DoDMETS but has been superseded by information previously provided. DoDMETS said no conflict, DoDMERB has granted the required waiver.

When I doubt, DoDMERB is the deciding authority.
