My son received a remedial for depression. 28 months ago, he seemed a bit down, so we took him to his pediatrician who put him on Prozac, which he only took on and off for a month. We are sending progress notes from the Dr visit along with a letter from my son stating it was a situational depression due to girlfriend issues. What are his chances of being medically qualified?

I would ask the mods to move this to the DoDMERB forum, hopefully Mabry or KP20001 will respond.
I am not a doc, but I don't believe sending progress notes from the Dr will impact anything at 1st, later on if a remedial is required than that will help. Basically they will look at how long he has been off and move on from there. I believe it is 24 months, so he should be fine, but Mabry would be the one to really know for sure.
