Okay. So after 3 months of waiting they finally looked at my remedials and updated my status to being DQ’d. My dilemma is that I am being DQ’d for conditions I have never had. For instance: 1 is saying that I have a history of “blacking out/fainting” and I have never fainted or “blacked out” in my life... another is having a history of migraines, again never have had migraines. The reason these two I’m assuming were brought up was because after I donated blood for the first and only time I felt a little dizzy after and went to the doctor to make sure everything was okay. The doctor kept on INSISTING that I had migraines when I knew I didn’t. We ended up having him test my blood the next day and found out that my iron was a little low, so I took iron supplements for about 4 days and was completely fine after that and have been ever since. I sent in two Dr. notes stating that it was low iron and I do not have migraines but am still being DQ’d for this.

Since I have never fainted/blacked out or had migraines I feel that this needs to be changed. As I do not want to be medically disqualified for something I have never had. Should I contact my admissions counselor and tell him my situation? I have already called USNA medical to ask them about it, and all I was told was the basic waiver process that I am already aware of. I am just very nervous that needing multiple waivers for a condition I do not have will end up with me receiving a rejection email.

Please help! Any advice is very much appreciated.
