I was medically DQ'd back in September with two very waiverable conditions, but I was curious if these DQ's could affect my chances of receiving an appointment, or even a conditional appointment.
Hypothetically speaking, could a medical DQ tip the scales between two candidates who are close in the academic section of the application? Even if the candidate with the medical DQ was originally more qualified, could they be overlooked when choosing a slate winner because of the medical condition?
I might be overthinking this, but any advice/information will be greatly appreciated.
