    ... to the traditional Latin honors -- cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude -- to recognize various and specific levels of pre-determined academic achievement for graduating Mids?

    I believe there are just two: "with honor" and "with merit".

    By definition...

    "With Distinction" - top 10% of class.
    "With Merit" - those not in the top 10% of the class who achieve at least 75% of the maximum aggregate (points) through the Order of Merit system.
