Just received notification back from ATEC Surgeon General about my waiver denied for eczema after the age of 12.
Is there any other options left to pursue an appeal? Thanks.

Have you gone to a dermatologist that can verify it is eczema via a biopsy?

My dermatologist, who has been my only dermatologist, wrote a letter stating that I have had not had eczema since 13 and believes it was something I grew out of. As such I don't understand how a biopsy would dispute something listed on my medical history from 6 years ago? Thanks for your time and assistance.

Son did exactly the same thing - doctor's letter re current status - and it was waived.

Klone, try to find a retired military dermatologist in your area that is now a practicing civilian DR. If you do not have the condition they will know how to draft a letter that may help the SG with a waiver. Best of luck.
