Hi everyone!
My DS is so looking forward to getting accepted to WP. He is the greatest applicant WP could ever receive. He is president of every single club at his very here it rural WY competitive high school including the UN Model which is basically where students role-play the United Nations(He created it), the Singing club where students sing songs without instruments(He said the idea for this club came to him in a dream), and a club that raises wildlife. He is 1/3 in his graduating class with a 38 ACT and 1700 SAT, so yeah, he's pretty much a genius. Did I mention that he is ripped? He maxed his push up and pull-ups with one hand and for his sit-ups, he did it using a single ab(he maxed it too, hehe). He is varsity captain of the XC team, the football team, the soccer team, the volleyball team, the rowing team, the curling team, the equestrian team, and a couple more. He has 42,069 volunteering hours with the local police department, a judge saw great potential in him and decided that he needs to show the world how great our DS is. Sometimes I get confused and call him dad haha. The class of 2028 is going to be so lucky to have him.
Thanks,

can we skip all the years ( plebe, yuk, cos) and get him to to be 1st year cadet right away?

If I read this correctly, he is in the bottom 3 of his class. That is certainly a fatal flaw. He needs to recruit a bunch of kids for next year.

At the rate Junior is going — with all his APs and concurrent enrollment in college courses and his 7.36 weighted GPA — he’s going to validate all his plebe and second-class courses. Does he absolutely have to do plebe year? He wants to get a head start on being a test pilot, so is hoping to begin a master’s degree in aeronautical acrobatic engineering architecture right away. Is that allowed?

Oh, and what do I do about my ignorant neighbor? She knows nothing about the military and service academies. When I told her about DS applying to West Point, she asked if it was a good school; about the Naval Academy, she said she didn’t know one could study belly buttons; about the Air Force Academy, she said she didn’t care for “Top Gun.” Why isn’t she patting me on the pack, saying I must be so proud, that DS is going places? I just don’t get it!

He looks like a strong applicant...maybe work on the test scores a bit as they could be stronger. Also, he should try to get to the point where he doesn't need to use either hand for the pull-ups or push-ups. How was his B-Ball throw? If he doesn't hit the international space station with his throw, he probably won't be accepted.

My older brother was the most book smart, and best athlete I ever knew. He was my hero .... Then he clocked me between the eyes with a baseball.
