The bowl was great. DC really did its best to make the game a nice event (fireworks, etc.). And for those who didn't watch, the game was much closer than the score.
The craziest moment came, however, when the erstwhile sideline reporter started to interview Napoleon McCallum ('85), an honorary team captain. She starts out, "I'm here with . . . who are you, again?" No kidding. No idea the name of the person she was interviewing. After stumbling through her first question, she then said something along the lines of, "And now I want to ask you an important question . . ." And there was silence. For about 10 seconds while she tried to think of something to ask.
Napoleon was graceful throughout but it was . . . amazing. Waiting for it to appear on Youtube, but not yet.
