DS has ocular albinism and is asymptomatic (since birth), we only found about this because his little brother has it and is symptomatic. It has been his intention to attend the Naval Academy since the 1st week of the 9th grade. He is his class's (2012) Senior Class President & is in line to be class valedictorian. Standardized test scores are 34 (33 math) ACT & 2160 SAT (780 math). Letters in varsity football & baseball and a boatload of extracurriculars. He does not have perfect eyesight but it is correctable to 20/20. He attended Summer Seminar and it only reinforced his desire to become a Midshipman. Minus the congressional appointment, his application is complete. He has been medically DQ'd for ocular albinism. Based on his qual's and the fact that he has always been asymptomatic, is this a potentially waiverable issue? I have been reading the forums for a good while, but this is is my 1st post...
