My left eye prescription is -7.0 and my right eye is -5.75 (sorry, I don't know what that is on the 20/20 scale). I generally wear contacts. Am I allowed to have corrective eye surgery before attending one of the academies, or will I have to wear glasses?

I don't know for certain, but for the Air Force Academy, having surgery will automatically disqualify you. Besides, if you become a pilot, I think they will fix them for you.

Hubble - send me your posting; your full names and last 4 SSN; to Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil. I can more accurately answer you from there.:thumb:
