My DS has been requested by the USNA to take the Falent Lantern test. He spoke with DoDMerb this morning and they read off a list of facilities and their phone numbers that they thought would be the closest that would for sure be able to do the test but they are all very far away from us here in Iowa. He asked if he could go to Offutt AFB for the test as that is quite a bit closer. The DoDMerb person was not sure if they did the test there or not. They sent a letter in the mail yesterday and we should have it in a few days but it will not have a list of facilities on it. We have seen very old postings in the forum where others have had it done at Offutt AFB, several years ago. Does anyone know if Offutt still can administer this test or not? If they do, then we would just double check with DodMerb that it was okay and then follow whatever procedures are required in the letter when it comes. I just want to know if we are looking at a two hour drive or perhaps six to eight hours travel each way to get this done.

Not sure if this will help you, but I found a site that will point you to doctors who do the test. If you find one not too far away, you might want to make sure they're OK by DoDMERB:
