I was just looking at the admissions timeline found on this site and it mentions a Field Forces Interview and that candidates should have been contacted about their Field Forces Interview by now. My son has been contacted by a Blue and Gold officer for the USNA, but no one has contacted him about Westpoint. Should he have been contacted by now?

Thanks.

yes and no.

Many areas lack active field force members, so this could be a reason why no field force member contacted you.

Even if there is a field force member active in your area, he or she will prioritize interviews.

Best thing to do is contact your local field force member. It should be on the candidate portal. Kids contact me all the time asking for interivew/advise.

I could PM you your local field force member, if there is one, if you give me your state and congressional district.

I had to contact my field force first. Also if you son is a recruited athlete the field force can not contact him on NCAA rules. I was in contact with my Field Force person until I was listed as an official recruited athlete. After the Field Force did not respond to any of my emails.
