Any other first semester college applicants out there? I'm enjoying break, patiently waiting for USNA to receive my first semester transcript - nomination in hand, just...waiting. Any one else out there?
I retook the CFA back in October before it got cold, I got 73' on the basketball throw, max on pull ups, 8.7 shuttle, max on sit ups, 65 push ups, and 6:28 mile. Just waiting on them to receive/input my transcript now. How was your first semester?
I'm in the same boat! Had a great first semster, application is complete, and have a nomination.
Continuing to wait...but does anyone know when they will look at our applications?
I did one year in college before receiving an appointment. I received the call from my Congressman's Service Academy coordinator in March (ironically, right before spring break) and then received the BFE after. I'm not saying you might not hear until then, but I wouldn't presume that in a few weeks you might hear one way or the other.
Hey I have too and am now AD enlisted Navy. I have everything submitted except for a certain portion that active duty applicants need to do. I received my Congressional Nom in November so hopefully everything will be finished in a week or so. Any other active duty enlisted out there? And future applicants need any help let me know, I've done it twice now.

I got a letter from my congressman on Jan. 11 then the BFE about a week later. I took first year engineering classes at LSU and got about a 3.8.
I studied at Southern Utah University this past semester. Took 13 credits, Calc, Chem, and English and did very well in all of them. Also I worked an average of 30 hours a week at a Subway restaurant to pay for school. Hope I get an appointment this time around.
