First of all, I am a little confused. I have read in several posts that some get the scholarship before the DoDMERB appointments? My son just did his eye and medical exams today but has not been accepted to either Navy or AF ROTC as of today. At least, we have not received anything stating otherwise! Another ?...he put on his medical form that he had been seen by the foot doc in 2003 and was prescribed othodics. I never purchased the othodics for him but instead bought better shoes (NB) with better arch supports. He has not had any problems with his feet since then and he noted that on the medical form. He has been in marching band since 9th grade and marches 30+ hours a week from July to November with no problems. Should he not have even mentioned the flat feet? Is this still a DQ?
