Flight Surgeon through USAFA

Hello, I am a sophomore hoping to attending USAFA for the class of 2028. Yet it is still early, I am brainstorming possible career paths in the Air Force to set me up for the right track in high school (if I get into the academy), and being a flight surgeon has always stood out to me the most. But again, this is just an idea. Does anybody know the path to becoming a flight surgeon through USAFA or any academy? Much appreciated.

You need to be accepted to medical school.
While possible to go to medicals school straight out of a SA it is pretty competitive. If not se LEC red don’t sweat it- you don’t necessarily need to go to medicals school straight out of an academy. I know many military doctors who did something else then went to medical school, including pilots.
