I want to buy season tickets for the upcoming season, but it only allows me to pick “reserved”. How is the actual seat assignment done?

Depends where you are in the pecking order.

People who buy the most expensive NAAA memberships have access to best seat selection earlier.

Each alumni class has its own rough area of the stadium. The more senior the class, the closer to the 50-yard line, and then creeps closer every year.

Some seats are reserved for visiting team sales.

Returning season ticket holders can request to move to better seats or stay the same.

Whatever is leftover is what’s available. I like my seats in the Upper Blue section, abive the Brigade seating area, Navy end zone. I like watching what’s going on with D&B, cheerleaders, the goats, plebes doing push-ups.

Army-Navy is a separate buy, and will be sold out by now, I believe. Season ticket holders get a crack at those before they evaporate into full public access.

Buy the gameday parking pass package if you can. Stadium parking lots only admit pass holders. All others park ad hoc in people’s driveways for roughly $25, a nearby elementary school lot and church lots and hoof it to the stadium. Being in the stadium lot brings tailgating fun and atmosphere. With games starting at 3:30, as the days get shorter, can mean cold walks back to your vehicle.
