I am currently a sophomore in a civilian college and am hoping to receive an appointment to USAFA. I just completed my online application and getting ready to turn in my nomination packages to my senators and congressman, and also have a presidential nomination. Next semester I will be returning home to take classes at a community college (not as expensive) and also work and was wondering which classes I should take.
I was planning on majoring in Biology at my current University, but I believe I would like to switch my major to some sort of engineering (as I enjoy math and science) at the academy... I am also thinking of learning a new language! At my college now I have taken:
Intermediate Intensive Spanish
English
Chem 100
Bio100
Organic Chemistry
Evolution
Genetics
Economics
Calc 100
Observational Painting
Elementary Computer Programming
I was wondering
-which courses I should be taking next semester to prepare more for the academy
-which languages are beneficial to air force for me to take
